The Evan Thomas Creek waterfalls are really beautiful! Along the 11.1 hiking loop you’ll see 7 waterfalls with the Green Monster Falls at the very end! There was no water to be seen coming down the falls, just greeny-bluish ice! So cool! The creek did have some open water sections. It’s an easy hike but spikes were necessary.

This was the first waterfall that we spotted. Then we went right down to the creek.

We watched some ice climbers and believe it or not it actually looked easier in real life than on a screen. There were about 3 separate groups we saw on various falls. This was the largest falls-green monster! We spoke to a 69 year old man that had just climbed and he agreed that you “just gotta keep moving and don’t get injured” as we get older! Just don’t stop moving! That’s my motto!
